FAQ: “I found it very easy to add ‘new accounts’ – but I’m still looking for the section to input the numbers.”

January 30th, 2009 by Jessica Routier | No Comments »

FAQ is a regular blog feature that answers frequently asked question and makes them available as a growing list of tagged blogs.

In this question, the user indicated that they were able to add an account – let’s call it “ABC” as an account, but that account paid $6,000 and they weren’t sure where to add it.

Well, first I hope you did not add “ABC” as an account. ABC would in fact be a customer, so you would add them on your Contacts tab. Then, after the contact is added, go into your entries tab, select Incoming entries and enter the pertinent data for the $6,000.00 transaction!

FAQ: “How do I make a numerical entry or enter my numbers?”

January 29th, 2009 by Jessica Routier | No Comments »

FAQ is a regular blog feature that answers frequently asked question and makes them available as a growing list of tagged blogs.

One word: “EZ”!!! You want to make an “entry”. Once you click on the “Entries” tab you will see “Incoming” or “Outgoing”.

If you are making a “money coming in” entry, then you would want to select “incoming”.

If you are making a “money going out” entry, then you would select “outgoing”.
