FAQ: What is the Recommended Browser for IAC-EZ?

IAC-EZ performs best if used in either Internet Explorer or FireFox. Using other browsers is not recommended at this time. (Hey, we’d love it if we could work everywhere but we’d rather spend our effort creating great features that most of our users will find helpful. Someday, we’ll see about getting on board with other browsers but there are only 24 hours in a day).

FAQ: Where Do We Add A New Deposit Account?

New Deposit accounts can be added under your Chart of Accounts Tab.

Step one: Go down to the Reconcile Deposit Accounts, and on that page click the Add New Account button.

Step two… oh. There’s only one step. Yes, it’s that EZ!

FAQ: Can I save the data I enter in IAC-EZ on to my own computer?

Yes.  It’s so EZ!  Just go to the Import/Export tab to download as a CSV.

FAQ: I am trying to upload a CSV file, and it’s not working. What should I do?

If you are having a problem uploading a CSV file, be sure to check that you have a single row of headers.  Many downloads have four or five lines of description on the top and that will not work.  For a sample of the format to use, use the “download sample CSV file” link on the import/export page.  If you continue to have problems please let us know at support@iacez.com and we will be happy to help you.

FAQ: Is the free trial version the same as the paid version of IAC-EZ?

It’s exactly the same! The free trial is a complete working version of the software with all the same features. This will allow you to fully analyze the software and decide if it will be the best choice for your business.

FAQ: How is IAC-EZ different from other bookkeeping applications?

IAC-EZ is a transactional-based bookkeeping system. This means that the income and expenses you track are by the transaction, not by the account. This makes it super easy to separate business and personal transactions for an accurate profit and loss statement. We also offer tax estimates to help prevent any big surprises!

FAQ: Can I Undo my Last CSV Import?

Yes! If you have a problem on a CSV import, it is simple to remove it. Just go to the Import/Export tab, and open the CSV Import/Export.

Scroll down to the Import button, and there is a link “Undo Last CSV Import”. Just click the link, and verify that you are SURE you want to delete it. It’s EZ !
