Forum » All Things EZ » Support » Shoeboxed: Categories / Import Hi, I've got over 250 receipts & invoices scenned into Shoeboxed & I need to be able to add custom categories for them in IACEZ but I don't see where I can do that. The closest I saw was the 'Chart of Accounts' & I don't think all the categories I have in mind belong there. I'd rather use the categories I saw when I was mapping them. The default choices don't fit my industry or how my company needs to track purchases. How can I add & edit these categories, and how do I generate reports based on what's in each category? Also, I didn't see anywhere to actually import my Shoeboxed data. I press the 'Receipts' button from the 'Shoeboxed' section of the 'Import/Export Center' & it seems to do something, but only a small fraction of my receipts are showing up in IACEZ. I'm also going to have to import documents from Shoeboxed, that Shoeboxed isn't classifying properly, such as invoices that record how much was spent on something, so needs to be tracked, but isn't a receipt per se. I also see somehow IACEZ has decided I've got some kind of income in my Shoeboxed data, which shouldn't be the case, as all their docs are spending reated. So where do I see what IACEZ's referring to there & how do I fix it? Thanks. Hi cbSSS, IAC-EZ allows you to add and edit categories in two ways. First, you can add accounts to your Chart of Accounts. This will allow you alter reports such as your Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Report. The second way is to "Add New Category" when you create a new entry, further allowing you to customize the system. You can generate reports related to your accounts in the Reports tab. At the moment, IAC-EZ currently allows Shoeboxed users to import receipts as entries, business cards as contacts, and bills as bills! We currently do not have a way of importing other documents yet. Concerning your present Shoeboxed issues, how many receipts were you able import? Can you also send a screenshot of the misclassified data to support@iacez.com?
