6 Things Your Bookkeeper Can Do With Their Free Time

… And, you will have freed up your bookkeeper’s time as well. No longer will they be able to charge you a high hourly rate for easy work that can be virtually automated by IAC-EZ. So instead, we have compiled a list of things that your bookkeeper can do with their time since you won’t need their services anymore:

1. Take a vacation. A long vacation. They’ll have the time, now that you are running your bookkeeping through a simple online system that costs significantly less.

2. Become a bee keeper. The letters are pretty similar between “bookkeeper” and “bee keeper”, so they don’t have to invest in a new sign for their door. Simply erase one of the k’s and turn the o’s into e’s. (Oh, and they’ll have to trade in their calculator and pencils for those weird boxes that bees live in).

3. Advertise. After all, there might be someone, somewhere in need of a bookkeeper (although maybe not, once IAC-EZ becomes available to the public). Their jobs are no longer an “essential service” for all companies. Freelancers and small businesses now have an affordable and easy way to keep their books.

4. Do things around the house. Sometimes there are things around the house that need to get done but often get neglected – clean out the fridge, change a light bulb, etc. Bookkeepers should thank you for giving them the free time to get to all those things they were neglecting. And their calculators might make a handy way to prop up an uneven leg on a table.

5. Become a librarian. Different kind of bookkeeper. But at least they get to keep the title.

6. Become a hobo. Every bookkeeper dreams of becoming unchained from their desk and set free to wander wherever their whims take them. You will be doing your bookkeeper a favor by helping them to fulfill their dream.
